NEW AGE REQUIREMENTS: Ages 15-23 as of July 1st of the current pageant year.

Iowa residents between the ages of 15 and 23 as of July 1st of the current pageant year and who are single young women and who have never been married or pregnant are eligible for entry.

2010 Miss Rodeo Lenox Queen

Kayla Barber

      Kayla is the daughter of Kevin and Teresa Barber of Winterset.  Kayla graduated from Winterset High School where she was active in volleyball, FFA, Pep Club, and was also on the honor roll.  Kayla also serves dinners sponsored by local businesses, helps with highway clean up near Winterset, is an instructor at youth volleyball camps, and is a 5th grade ag day instructor.
       Aside from spending time training for volleyball and working with her horses, Kayla's other hobbies are spending time with close family and friends.  She enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Lily and Diesel.  It normally doesn't matter what she is doing, you will always tend to find her being outside.
       Kayla's future ambition is to attend Simpson College in Indianola to major in Accounting.  She has also been asked to participate on the volleyball team.  Following college, she hopes to find a job in the field of Accounting somewhere here in Iowa.  She would also like to stay involved with helping in her community with animals.  Some day Kayla hopes to own and operate her own ranch, plans to get married and settle down with someone who shares the same morales and values as she does.  Kayla also plans to raise a family and enjoy watching her children grown up in the same country way of live that she did.
